All Progressives Congress (APC) Jigawa state, has reaffirmed its total support for President Bola Tinubu and Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa state.
The party made the commitment on Friday when the state’s Deputy Chairman of the party, Mr Nasiru Jahun led a delegation of Chairmen of the 27 local governments to the government House.
A statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Hamisu Gumel, revealed that Mr Jahun said Namadi is the only recognised leader of the party in Jigawa.
“The party leadership in the state remains firmly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Namadi, endorsing both leaders for a second term come 2027,” the statement quoted Jahun.
The party leaders according to the report, also commended the Namadi administration for its transformational and unprecedented achievements within just two years, describing them as historic in Jigawa’s development.
The report added that MrJahun in his remarks, had cautioned, that the party would not hesitate to sanction any member that undermines the unity or disrespects the state leadership.
The statement revealed that Gov. Namadi in his response, commended the APC leadership for their solidarity and assured them of his continued cooperation with the party.
He further reiterated his commitment to fairness in dealing with party members across the state, noting that both the federal and state governments under the APC are focused on people-oriented policies.
” The party is focused on the implementation of developmental projects, while our administration’s 12-point agenda aligns closely with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Both state and Federal governments share a vision grounded in sustainable development and the welfare of the people,” Namadi maintained.
