Prof. Armaya’u Bichi, the Vice Chancellor, Federal University DutsinMa, says the university will reposition and provide improved quality academic services in the university.

He stated this in a sideline interview at a closing ceremony of a three-day retreat for the management, staff and governing council of the university, on Thursday in Dutse, Jigawa State.

The retreat Bichi said, has accorded them with an opportunity to review the activities of the university, in the outgoing year 2024.

“We came to Dutse to have a retreat and the aim is to refresh our minds on our annual academic activities throughout the year and assess our successes and challenges,” the VC said.

The forum he stressed, will design a program on how best to improve the  institution’s infrastructure and academics.

Papers presented at the retreat include ‘Path to impactful University Leadership’ by Prof. Nasir Tukur and ‘Symbiotic Relationship Between the Council, other Organs and Management in Achieving University Vision and Mission’.

Bichi claimed that they will adapt the researches and translate them into improved quality of education for the students of the University.
Col Abdulmumini Aminu, Pro Chancellor, the Chairman governing  Council FUDMA, commended the university management for organising the retreat.
He admitted that it was full of learning and they will put their new learning to in making the university’s academic activities better and much impactful.
