The Jigawa State Police Command, has announced the commencement of a shooting range exercise for Police Constables, scheduled to begin Saturday, April 19, 2025 and ends Sunday, May 11, 2025. A statement signed by SP Shiisu Adam, the Command’s spokesperson made this known on Friday, revealing that the exercise will take place at Tsohon Kafi Village in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area. Kano, Wednesday April 16, 2025 Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has inspected various projects on his arrival from Morocco, before reaching the government House on Wednesday. Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state, has set an annual target to produce 3.6 million metric tonnes of rice, through the cultivation of 1.2 million hectares of land. Dutse, April 13, 2025 Director General of the Jigawa state Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo has said that the board has almost concluded preparations for the 2025 Hajj operations. In an interview with newsmen on the progress achieved, Labbo said, the board has submitted a list of over 1,000 intending pilgrims who completed payments for the hajj fare, to National Hajj Commission of Nigeria(NAHCON).
