“During the two-day event, we wish to encourage participation of women in digital trade and value-added export sectors.

“Today’s gathering is more than just an event, it is a commitment to empowering women, strengthening our local economy and expanding the horizons of businesses owned and led by women in our State.

“Jigawa has been known for resilience, and entrepreneurship and our women have demonstrated extraordinary capacity in trade, agriculture and manufacturing, thus contributing significantly to Nigeria’s growth.

“This programme, aligns perfectly with the state’s vision of promoting inclusive economic development and  supporting MSMEs as well as women inclusion, the Coordinator said.

“As part of our support, we are issuing a grant of $500 to two participants who exhibit seriousness and willingness to boost their trades to the global scale,” she explained.

Speaking on behalf of the participants,  Mrs Hauwa Umar, commended the NEPC and ImpactHer for their new skills.
