Jigawa state Executive Council, has approved the sum of N1,832,724,197.59, as loan to Jigawa State Pilgrim Board to settle all fees for Jigawa State intending pilgrims for 2025 Hajj Operations.
The state Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sport and Culture, Mr Sagir Musa made this known in a statement on Thursday.
The statement said that the approval is in line with National Hajj Commission’s requirements, for the commencement of 2025 Hajj Operations and airlifting to Saudi Arabia.
In addition, the statement revealed that the Council has approved the sum of N608,677,770.06, for the construction of state of-the-art workshop, at Centre of Excellence on Technical and Vocational Studies Garki Local council.
This, the statement said, is for training the student with skills, to drive and expand access to vocational education to the teeming youth in the State.
