    Dutse, Dec. 17, 2025 Jigawa state governor Umar Namadi, has inaugurated three new special advisers and charged them diligence and dedication to duty.

    A statement signed by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Hamisu Gumel, revealed that the three were inaugurated on Wednesday at the state Council Chambers, government House, Dutse.

    The statement revealed that while administering the oath of office, Governor Namadi said, the occasion was important in strengthening his administration and the advancement of Jigawa State.

    “Today, we have entrusted these individuals with responsibilities that are critical to the success of our administration and the development of Jigawa State,” he said.

    The appointees according to Namadi in the report, were carefully selected based on merit, integrity, experience, and proven capacity.

    He however, expressed optimism that they would contribute meaningfully, to the implementation of government programmes and policies.

    “The Special Advisers we have sworn in today are people of integrity, experience, and proven capacity.

    As reflected in their backgrounds and service records, they are versatile administrators and committed public servants.

    “Their records proved that they are well-prepared for the roles assigned to them and they will contribute meaningfully to the implementation of our programmes and policies,” the governor said in the statement.

    The statement added that the governor reminded the appointees, that public service is a sacred trust, noting that the oath they had taken, represents solemn commitment before God and the people of Jigawa State.

    He furrher urged them to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication, and humility, thus placing the interest of the state above everything.

    Responding on behalf of his colleagues, the Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters, Alhaji Kabiru Hassan Sugungum, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the confidence reposed on them.

    He assured the governor of their absolute loyalty to his administration and the State Executive Council, pledging to contribute effectively to the successful implementation of the administration’s 12-Point Agenda.
