Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has led the Jigawa State Government delegation to attend the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE), holding on China.
A statement by the Senior Special Assistant Media Affairs to the governor, Mrs Zainab Rabo, revealed that the international Expo is
taking place from June 12 to 15, 2025, at the Changsa International Conference Centre in Hunan Province, Peoples Republic of China.
The statement revealed that “The bi-annual expo is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Government of Hunan Province.”
It further explained that the expo will focus on various sectors, including infrastructure development, youth innovation and entrepreneurship, CEO dialogue, legal services, logistics, and new energy.
According to the statement, the expo will provide valuable exhibition and matchmaking platforms designed for African countries, Chinese provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and enterprises from both China and Africa.
Furthermore, the event is expected to represent a significant opportunity for fostering partnerships and promoting joint ventures that can enhance economic growth across both regions.
“Jigawa’s participation at the Expo, underscores the commitment of Namadi administration’s bid to engage in meaningful collaboration with investors, potentially paving way for future economic and developmental initiatives,” the report disclosed.
