Dutse, Sunday Oct. 5, 2025 Primary Healthcare Department of Kaugama local government area of Jigawa state, has conducted mass mobilization for Measles, rubella, polio, routine immunization and other tropical diseases integrated vaccination on Sunday. Dutse, Oct. 2,2025 Jigawa state Immunization Officer, Mr Shehu Ibrahim, has said that the state targets 3.186.521 million children, representing 48-49% of children between nine months -14 years. Mr Ibrahim made this known on Thursday at a one-day media sensitization on Measles and Rubella campaign held in Dutse. He revealed that the Jigawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA), has trained 150 teams for the exercise. Dutse, Oct.2, 2025 Nigerian Export Promotion Council(NEPC), has tasked sesame seed farmers in Jigawa state to boost their productivity, as Nigeria’s non-oil exports for the first quarter of 2025, has hit the value of $1.791 billion. Mrs Nonye Ayeni, the Chief Executive Officer of the Council gave the task at a one-day sensisensitization for sesame seed farmers in Jigawa state. Dutse, Sept. 30, 2025 Jigawa state Executive Council has approved the sum of N3,3 billion as loan, to the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, to enable it obtain the allocated seats from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON). Dutse, Jigawa, Sept. 25, 2025 Jigawa State House of Assembly has passed a supplementary budget of  N75 billion, for the state and local governments for the 2025 fiscal year. The supplimentary budget was passed into law during the assembly’s plenary on Thursday, presided over by the Deputy Speaker of the Jigawa state Assembly, Hon. Sani Isiya. Dutse, Sept. 23, 2025  The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved ₦869,638,271.18 for the construction and rehabilitation of Tsangaya schools across the state. The Commissioner for Information, Youth, Sports and Culture, Mr. Sagir Musa, disclosed this on Tuesday in Dutse while briefing newsmen on the outcome of the council’s weekly meeting.
