Dutse, Nov. 25, 2025 Jigawa state government has said that it has concluded plans to immunize over 1.5 million children below the age of five, in November round of polio immunization exercise in the state. The Executive Secretary, State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr Shehu Sambo, announced this at a one-day Media Dialogue organised by the state with support from United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). Yankwashi, (Jigawa), Nov. 24, 2025 Gov. Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has commissioned the 13.5 kilometer Sada-Danakari-Unguwar Malam Kuda-Magina feeder road, in Yankwashi Local Government Area (LGA) of the state. Dutse, Nov. 22, 2025 Jigawa state overnment has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting teachers through capacity-building to improve teaching in secondary schools across the state. Kano Nov. 20, 2025 Children from Northwestern states of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina have appealed to stakeholders to provide them with security, quality healthcare, water and sanitation.
