Dutse, Nov. 22, 2025 Jigawa state overnment has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting teachers through capacity-building to improve teaching in secondary schools across the state. The Commissioner for Higher Education, Science and Technology, Professor Isa Yusuf Chamo, made gave the reaffirmation at a five-day training workshop organized by the Ministry in collaboration with the British Council and the State Senior Secondary Education Board. Kano Nov. 20, 2025 Children from Northwestern states of Kano, Jigawa and Katsina have appealed to stakeholders to provide them with security, quality healthcare, water and sanitation. The Children made the appeal on Thursday during the commemoration of the World Children’s Day in Kano, organised by yhe United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
