Dutse, Jan. 28, 2025 Director General, Jigawa state Pilgrims welfare Board, Alhaji Umar Labbo, has said that the board has improved its welfare services package for 2025 Hajj operations. He stated this on Tuesday in an interview with newsmen in Dutse, after returning from Saudi Arabia, in preparation for the 2025 Hajj operations. Jigawa state Executive Council, has approved the sum of N9,778,830,388.00 for the revitalization of 114 ward level primary health care centres in the State. Kano, Jan. 24, 2025 United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), has called on Nigeria to increase appropriation, release and spending on education, as it only spends 1.2 per cent of its GDP on education. Dutse, Jan. 22, 2025 Jigawa state Executive Council has approved the release of N250 million as matching fund for the purchase of Ready to Use Therapeutic Foods (RUTF) to combat malnutrition amongst children.
