Former Minister of Defence, Mr Badaru Abubakar, has dismissed reports circulating on social media, alledging that he is defecting to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing the claims as baseless and speculative.
In a statement signed by the former minister on Tuesday, he categorically stated that the report was entirely false and a declared it a product of political mischief.
Badaru in the statement, revealed that he remains firmly committed to the All Progressives Congress (APC), as a founding member, noting that his loyalty to the party remains absolute and unwavering.
He however, urged the general public and members of the APC, to disregard the “false and misleading reports,” reiterating that he has no intention of leaving the APC.
