Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Jigawa State Council, has commended Governor Umar Namadi and past leaders for the socio-economic development of Jigawa state during the past decades.
In a statement signed by the Council’s Secretary, Aminu Umar, the Council also congratulate the people of the state over their resilience during the three decades of the creation of the state.
The council however, acknowledged and appreciated the immense contributions of past military and civilian administrations, towards the development of the state.
Meanwhile, the statement highlighted the impactful policies and programmes initiated by Namadi administration, to improve the welfare and livelihoods of the people of Jigawa State.
NUJ further applauded Namadi’s advancement of key sectors such as agriculture, health, education, youth empowerment, and maintaining ce of security, making Jigawa one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.
