Emir of Kazaure leads Jigawa state pilgrims for 2025 Hajj

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has appointed the Emir of Kazaure, Alhaji (Dr) Najib Adamu, as Amirul Hajj and leader of the government delegation for the 2025 Hajj Exercise.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim, made available to Newsmen on Monday.

Also, the governor has approved the appointment of members of the Hajj team to support the leader and they included Dr. Yusuf Abdurrahman, the Chief Imam of Hadejia Emirate and Alhaji Lawan Ya’u-Roni, Talban Kazaure.

Other members are, Dr. Mahmoud Yunusa, Sa’in Dutse and Alhaji Adamu Dauda Zakar, Durbin Hadejia respectively.

The statement highlighted that the appointments were made, in recognition of their distinguished records of hard work, commitment, patriotism, trustworthiness and piety.

While congratulating the team, the SSG urged them to maintain these virtues as they undertake their important responsibilities bestowed on them by the Government and the people of Jigawa State.

The team is expected to work hand in hand with the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board and other relevant bodies at the State, Federal, and International levels to ensure efficient and effective Hajj operations.
